AWS Bedrock provides access to multiple foundation models within the AWS ecosystem. Forge is cloud-agnostic and runs anywhere -- Oracle, AWS, GCP, on-premises, or edge. Forge provides deeper AI-native features like three-layer memory, multi-agent orchestration, a visual agent builder, and x402 micropayments that Bedrock does not offer. If you are already all-in on AWS and only need basic model access, Bedrock is convenient. If you want vendor independence and a full AI agent platform, Forge is the stronger choice.
Forge has unique advantages in 7 of 15 compared features.

Switching from AWS Bedrock to Forge is straightforward. Forge exposes an OpenAI-compatible API, so migration typically involves three steps:
Update your base URL
Change your API base URL to https://optimaforge.ai/v1
Set your Forge API key
Generate a Forge API key from your dashboard and update your environment variable.
Configure provider keys
Add your existing provider API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) to the Forge dashboard. Forge routes to them on your behalf.
