From proxy to platform
LiteLLM is an excellent open-source proxy for routing requests across LLM providers. AWS Bedrock provides access to multiple foundation models within the AWS ecosystem. Forge is cloud-agnostic and runs anywhere -- Oracle, AWS, GCP, on-premises, or edge. Forge provides deeper AI-native features like three-layer memory, multi-agent orchestration, a visual agent builder, and x402 micropayments that Bedrock does not offer. If you are already all-in on AWS and only need basic model access, Bedrock is convenient. If you want vendor independence and a full AI agent platform, Forge is the stronger choice.
